Here is a list of the proposed changes:
Bylaw 6.1d) change to read "an end is deemed to be in progress when the first rock has reached the near tee line and an end is deemed complete when the last rock reaches the near tee line" (this was adjusted to reflect the bell rule)
Bylaw 11 regarding bonspiels, etc. is outdated. Delete a and c - keep b and d but delete any specific bonspiel in d - this will keep the bylaw current
Appendix 5 - Delete all specific leagues and bonspiels - simply state that all bonspiels, special events and leagues must submit financial statements. This will keep the bylaw current.
Friday night charter - correct the typo in the last paragraph - change Thursday to Friday
Bylaw 6.1t) add this bylaw 'officially designated coaches and volunteers involved with a junior curling program must have a current police check and the executive will cover the cost of mandatory police checks if so requested' This was a motion passed by the executive in Oct 02/2002.
